Gas Turbine Online Maintenance and Upgrades
The compression cycle consumes large quantities of air, and despite intake filtration, small quantities of dues, aerosols and water pass through and deposit on the gas turbine blades. These deposits impede airflow and degrade overall performance of the gas turbine over time.
Savgen increases the effectiveness of the online water washes by washing the LPC and HPC independently, minimising the performance degradation caused by compressor fouling, developing a gas turbine compressor cleaning solution that recovers lost performance while improving heat rate and unit availability.
